As a continuation of the ongoing refurbishment of my suspension, I wanted to fit poly anti roll bar bushes to the supra.
Now, finding ones for the front was not a problem, they are off the shelf even in this pathetic c U ntry so, I just ordered a set from HERE Job done. ![]() The rears however, seem not to exist as far as I can tell. There are some complete rear anti roll kits which come with their own poly bushes but, I was unable to find any - bushes only listed for the rear bar of the MA/JZA70 chassis - definitely not here in the yUK. So, what I did was measure the diameter of the rear bar then, took a shot in the dark/educated guess as to which other car may have similar bushings & ordered a set of THESE from a Celica. I know there are several "universal" fit bushes out there however, the Celica ones are considerably cheaper ![]() Now, as you can see from the pic below, the Celica bushings fit slightly differently compared to the standard Supra rear bushes however, with a small modification to the bracket, the Celica bushes can be made to fit perfectly. ![]() (Top) the standard Supra bushes fit internally to the brackets, held in by the folded part of the clamps where as the the Celica ones are the more "standard" fitment (bottom). By cutting off the folded part of the rear brackets the Celica bushes fit perfectly to the Supra chassis. ![]() And fitted on the bar they looks factory too - perfect retro-fitment. ![]() So, I'm now happy (figure of speech obviously) I have a full set of poly antiroll bar bushes - woo! ![]() Some smug bu9ger will now post a yUK link to somewhere that sells supra rear bushes lol.

Looking very nice and shiney under there!
Do you have poly subframe bushes too? If you do, where did you get them from?

They are the only bushes I have not changed for a couple of reasons:
1) They only seem to be supplied by someone in the US, they are not cheap and the shipping etc is ludicrous. 2) I wanted to keep some ride quality and not have my back put out on every trip ![]() The stock rubber sub frame bushes are big things, they are in great condition on this car and really give very little movement at all. I am hoping the set up I have now will be a nice medium, either way, it should handle like a different vehicle given the vast amount of flex the polys take out of the linkages. I suspect my Illuma shocks will spend most of their time on soft mode to deal with the woeful state of the roads here! As for shiny bits, I won't want to drive it

True say about the pricing from the states. Thats the reason i asked. My rear subframe bushes are shot and i dont like the idea of going to all the hassle of getting them out, only to replace them with OEM.
What ARB's are you using btw?

Stock bars with the Powerflex bushes as detailed.
The rest of the bushes are Energy bushes from a group buy last year when th £ was actually worth something!

I have poly rear anti roll bar bushes, I believe Rob got them from Ronnie K in New Zealand, And i got them Off Rob, they fit in the stock mounts,
Btw did you have too cut open your bushes to fit them over the anti rollbar? Cuz i had too.

Yep, Ronnie is the only guy who supplies them but, not being in the yUK & also not being a cheap, stock off shelf part I wanted to go this route instead.

It's like toffee but not as nice....and probably carcinogenic.
By size they are referring to the diameter of your anti roll bar, it would appear Toyota used 2 sizes, youll need to measure the diameter of yours to be sure to get the correct fit
